The restaurant, with capacity of 80 seats, comprises of three sections: outdoors, indoor seating and a private room which is ideal for functions such as company parties, birthday celebrations, or family getherings. Outside catering can also be arranged with menus tailored to your needs.

Chef Koi has always had a passion for food. During his long career in the antique watches trade, he traveled extensively, and experienced the world's most exquisite cuisines, which inspired him to fuse all these exciting flavours together in his own dishes. He then decided to pursue his dream of opening a restaurant in 2012.

With support from his wife Lab, he opened Maximato in Chiang Mai. While chef Koi enjoys experimenting with new fusions, Lab loves her role as the front of house.
